Ladies' results

Enjoying the best day of 2013 64 members took part in the Chalmers Memorial Trophy playing a greensomes strokeplay competition.

A carvery lunch followed enjoyed by all.

Congratulations to the Winners and all who took part.

Despite the incredibly strong wind thoughout the whole day, La Moye Ladies managed to have a convincing win against Royal Jersey to maintain both the Bailhache Cup and the Jane Rogers Trophy.

Both the Bronze and Silver B teams had a successful morning and La Moye retained both Cosgrove Trophies.

Despite dense fog all the Ladies managed to play and were only delayed a couple of hours.  The fog continued to blow in and out making some of the holes more guess work than judgement.  However the second day was much kinder and the sun shone for us all.

A very comprehensive win from the bronze and silver teams against Les Mielles.  Luckily the weather was excellent golfing weather (for a change!).

The first bronze match of the year went to a  nail biting finish on the 18th hole of the last match at The Royal.  Unfortunately the final score was 6.5 - 5.5 to The Royal.  The whole team played well and we look forward to next year when we will have home advantage.

Excellent golfing from Trish and Ian Parkin  67 stableford points.  Unfortunately Ian's handicap was inactive. The first prize therefore goes to Stella Lambotte and Tom Richardson.  Good day had by all.

There was a brisk easterly wind causing Arctic conditions for the friendly match against Royal Jersey.

A very welcome decision to play this match over 9 holes was quickly decided.

LMGC Ladies had a very satisfactory short morning winning by 8 matches to 4 (21 points to 9) well done ladies
