La Moye Salver & Pitchmarks!

Congratulations go to La Moye Member Jack Critchley who won the La Moye Salver with a nett 69 playing off a handicap of 6. George Kean was the leading senior player with a nett 73. 

Past Captain Brett Allen left the following comment after his round in the competition -

"Late in the afternoon playing in the La Moye Salver  our group repaired 31 pitchmarks on the 15th green alone. Quite frankly that is disgraceful and Members and Non Members who play the game should show more etiquette. Please repair your pitchmarks and tell your partners to do so!"

All players are urged to diligently repair their pitchmarks during the course of their round. Unrepaired ball marks on greens can be a real blight on putting surfaces. Everybody wants to putt on true running greens but these are impossible to achieve without players doing their bit. Please be part of the solution to this problem by repairing pitchmarks whenever you see them.
